Guantanamo Bay v/s Saas Bahu

What is more difficult to face: - Torture at Guantanamo Bay by US or watching the re runs of Sas-Bahu daily saga on Hindi Channels. I think the latter.

I had to go through this ordeal when I fell ill and was bed ridden for few weeks. To further accentuate my horror stories, a strike by cine artist association was called to increase their daily wage structure. So to cut short no new serials were being made and aired during that period which made all the working/house wives howling and husbands getting panicked coz of that. If you don’t know the strike and its effects than bravo my friend, either you just hate TV or you are not living with your parents.

So imagine, since you are bed ridden and nothing to do/read/write you are made to watch some of the serials (as TV is my room, and mom is watching all those stuff) and since no new episodes are made so you are being subjected to repeat runs again and again and again.

Imagine you first watched the sas bahu epic Predicting what would happen. Because of channels having no new stuff so they are airing the same again. So now next day you are watching the same stuff Knowing what would happen. Btw this activity was repeated entire week.

Thankfully the strike was called off so I was subjected to lesser of two evils i.e. watching newer episodes of Sas–Bahu epics (Yups epics as “Kyunki Saas ..” is running for over 10 years).

I wonder whether US has tried these serials to crack those terrorist. It may work.
